Maternal Mental Health · Houston, TX

Healthy families
start with
healthy parents.

For more than 20 years I've cared for mothers, children, and families — and built the practices, provider networks, and systems I believe every family deserves.

Dr. Lauren Pasqua
About this work

The support a mother receives doesn't just shape her — it shapes everything around her.

I'm a licensed psychologist and maternal mental health specialist with deep roots in perinatal care, child and adolescent work, family systems, and DBT. I've spent more than 20 years on both ends of the same story: the mother navigating the postpartum year, and the child whose big emotions arrive in my office years later. That's why I direct the Center for Postpartum & Family Health and founded Connections Child & Family Center — because resilient moms raise resilient kids, and resilient kids grow into resilient families. That arc is the through-line across everything I do: with families, with organizations, and with the providers who serve them.
